Michael Palmer, Customer Business Manager and Jenna Dowd, Senior Assistant, Category Management Manager at Unilever, have set a new precedent in retailer-supplier collaboration to create best practice processes that benefit retailer and supplier alike. Unilever made a strategic decision two years ago to improve and invest in the Walgreens partnership. Michael was appointed to lead central analytics, tasked with leveraging data oriented insights in order to successfully collaborate with Walgreens. There is no doubt that Unilever has transformed into one of the super star power collaborators at Walgreens as a direct result of this corporate strategic initiative. This grand prize is being awarded to both Jenna Dowd who spearheaded the display optimization project and Michael Palmer for leading the team.
