Jonathan Golovin, PhD
Co-Founder and Board MemberJonathan Golovin is a co-founder of Retail Solutions. Jon played a key role in the development and implementation of RSi’s strategy and was President and CEO of RSi from 1999 – 2016. Previous to RSi, Jon was the founder and chairman of Consilium Inc., (now Applied Materials), the world’s largest independent Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) company. He is also the founder and former CEO of Vigilance, a leading event management system. Considered “the father of MES,” Jon received the 2000 SEMI Award for his contributions. He holds a B.S. from Cornell University and a Ph.D. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
In his spare time, Jon enjoys global travels with his wife and exploring various cultures.

Bert Clement
CEOIn his role as Chief Executive Officer, Bert leads RSi’s global vision, strategic direction and business operations as one of the world’s leading SaaS technology providers serving CPG manufacturers and retailers. With nearly 30 years of technology and financial experience, Bert has deep expertise in business strategy and operations, and a strong track record of delivering long-term revenue and profit growth in highly competitive domestic and international markets. During the past year, Bert has spearheaded RSi’s growing partnership with Microsoft, the pioneering technology and cloud computing company. RSi is the exclusive point of sale (POS) data provider for the Microsoft Connected Supplier program, managing one of the world’s largest implementations of retail POS data in the Microsoft Azure cloud. Prior to joining RSi, Bert was the CFO for Metric Stream, the market leader in enterprise-wide governance, risk, compliance, and quality management solutions. Prior to that, he was COO for Atrenta, one of the largest private companies in the electronic design automation industry, which was sold successfully to Synopsys in 2015. Earlier in his career, Bert worked at Verisign and the global accounting and consulting firm Price Waterhouse.
Bert holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from George Washington University and is fluent in French and Italian.
Vice President, Bessemer Venture Partners
Mary D’Onofrio
Vice President, Bessemer Venture PartnersMary is a vice president based in Silicon Valley and joined Bessemer to start the firm’s growth investment practice. She primarily focuses on growth investments in cloud software, with recent investments including LaunchDarkly, Hyperscience, HashiCorp, and BigID. She is a board member or observer for Hyperscience, BigID, Reputation, GetInsured, Tile, and Retail Solutions, and is also involved with Bessemer portfolio companies Guild Education, Zapier, and nCino.
Mary actively tracks both private and public cloud software and is one of the key architects behind the BVP Nasdaq Emerging Cloud Index (^EMCLOUD), which serves as a benchmark for public cloud companies. She also developed Bessemer’s Cash Conversion Score and is an author of the 10 Laws of Cloud.
Previously, Mary worked in Equity Capital Markets at Morgan Stanley. She holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management and graduated cum laude with an A.B. in Politics from Princeton University.
Partner, Venrock Associates
Brian Ascher
Partner, Venrock AssociatesBrian Ascher joined Venrock in 1998 as a Kauffman Fellow and is currently a partner based in Venrock’s Palo Alto office. Brian focuses on a broad range of Internet (both consumer and B2B) and Healthcare IT investments and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Vocera (NYSE: VCRA), as well as several private companies, including Awarepoint, Retail Solutions, Inrix, and Billfloat. Past investments include ADiFY (acquired by Cox Enterprises), DATAllegro (acquired by Microsoft), Redbeacon (acquired by Home Depot), RelayHealth (acquired by McKesson), Tudou (NASDAQ: TUDO), and Unicru (acquired by Kronos). Prior to Venrock, Brian was a Senior Product Manager at Intuit responsible for Quicken and Quicken.com, and earlier in his career was a Strategy Consultant at the Monitor Group. Brian has been named to the Forbes’ Midas List, which ranks the top venture capitalists in technology and life sciences, multiple times including the current edition.
Brian received his B.A. from Princeton University and his M.B.A. from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Michael Quinn
SVP and GMMike leads RSi’s Digital Analytics, Professional Services, Marketing, Sales Operations and Customer Success teams. Previously, Mike worked at PepsiCo in a variety of Brand Management positions and at PRN (acquired by Technicolor) as SVP Marketing, Research & Product Development.
Mike attended Brown University and graduated with a degree in Organizational Management & Statistical Methods.
Chief Customer Officer
Stuart Careford
Chief Customer OfficerStuart manages RSi’s European offices and leads customer relationships for the company worldwide. He brings to this global responsibility broad-based experience from operational leadership roles that link commercial, marketing, supply chain and finance functions. Stuart serves as the chief liaison between retailer and supplier account owners, making sure that RSi customers can grow profitability by collaborating in new ways with trading partners. His team is also tasked with ensuring that customers have access to crucial best practices in order to run a more successful business – all with a keen focus on strong value creation and bottom-line ROI. Stuart draws from over 20 years of experience working within leading CPG companies, including Gillette/P&G and Birdseye (Private Equity ownership). He has also held various commercial roles managing relationships with all major retailers in the UK.
Stuart holds a Business Diploma from The University of Hertfordshire.

Amit Jain
Chief Technology OfficerAmit leads RSi’s global data management and digital transformation technologies that enable CPG manufacturers and retailers to grow, profit and rule. Amit’s technology brief includes all engineering activities around product design, technology development and quality assurance. With more than 17 years of experience in the field and a deep understanding of building highly scalable analytics platforms, enterprise software and distributed computing architectures, Amit has a proven track record of leading cross-functional engineering teams worldwide to deliver quality product development releases. Prior to joining RSi, Amit was Vice President of Engineering with GT Nexus, an Infor Company.
Amit earned a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from IBS; and a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Mathematics and Statistics, from St John’s College.

Kirk W. Wheeler
Senior Vice President of Global Sales and MarketingWith more than 30 years of international experience in sales, marketing and general management, Kirk is Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing for RSi. He leads the charge on all growth-related activities for the company on a global basis. Kirk’s deep expertise in CPG, retail and technology is key to RSi’s mission to become the world’s leading provider of technology solutions that enable CPG manufacturers and retailers to drive stronger growth and profitability, from supply chain to shelf. Kirk brings in-depth knowledge of SaaS-based applications and expertise in leveraging advanced analytics and AI-driven technologies to the job of transforming RSi into a growth-driven, global technology leader. Prior to joining RSi, Kirk held senior sales, business development and marketing positions at Genpact, IRI, Manthan Systems and Cabela’s, the world’s largest outdoor outfitter. Earlier in his career, Kirk served in regional and country leadership positions for the Coca-Cola Company in the Asia-Pacific region. He started his career in marketing and brand management at PepsiCo and P&G.
Kirk is a graduate of Colorado State University, holding a Bachelor’s in Natural Resources Management and Policy.

Crystal Casey
Vice President Global Production OperationsCrystal manages RSi’s Production teams across the globe. She has over 20 years of experience in business intelligence and data analytics – with more than 14 of those years focused on helping companies in the CPG space to grow, profit and succeed. At RSi, Crystal’s focus is on driving operational efficiencies and ensuring the delivery of timely and accurate data availability. Crystal has acquired strong skills in software development lifecycles, enterprise software, SaaS, ETL and cross-functional team leadership with leading technology companies, including VeriSign, Concentra and HP.
Crystal holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire.

John Neale
Chief Financial OfficerJohn has deep finance and business operations experience with high-growth, internationally complex, entrepreneurial and listed companies with significant international experience working in Asia, Europe and Latin America. John brings to RSi his seasoned expertise with the investor community, influence on global projects and significant demonstrable contributions to net profits – ultimately helping CPG companies and retailers to succeed and win. Prior to joining RSi, John was CFO at ClearCare Inc., leading the successful sale of the company to a top private equity firm. Earlier in his career, John spent 11 years with QAD Inc. and served as a Financial Advisor for 123Compliance Corporation. He also held finance positions with AT&T and BMC Software.
John earned his MBA from the University of Southern California – Marshall School of Business; a Master’s Degree in Finance, Management from the University of Technology Sydney; and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance from the University of Sydney.
