Retail Solutions takes pride in being the leading innovator in the field of Retail Execution Management.
Over its history, Retail Solutions has developed a comprehensive set of proprietary algorithms, systems and applications designed to transform downstream data, such as retailer point-of-sale (POS), supply chain, pricing or category data into valuable and actionable insights. These efforts have been recognized by several patents and numerous awards.
While downstream data holds a tremendous promise for its users, the sheer volume of data requires a brand new approach. Simple reporting across tens of thousands of stores and hundreds or thousands of different SKUs will lead to either unusable averages or information overload. Since its inception, Retail Solutions has focused on how to build applications designed for downstream data and on how to transform massive data sets into accurate, relevant and actionable insights for CPG companies and their retailer customers.
Our field-tested, proven solutions have been developed in partnership with the largest Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) companies. Since its first joint research agreement, signed with the Procter and Gamble Company, Retail Solutions has worked in close collaboration with many of the industry leaders to design, develop and prove the most advanced and comprehensive application suite in the Retail Execution Management field.
For CPGs, maximizing Big Data’s value means answering relevant questions:
What if the organization could analyze every transaction and capture insights from every customer interaction?
What if you didn’t have to wait for months to get data from the field?
What if you could. . .?
...In real time
RSi uses the wealth of information and experience we have gained from being a leading provider of Downstream Data Business Intelligence, Tools, Alerts and Applications to craft consumer-centric solutions for CPGs.
Our approach transcends internal data processing, combining both internal and external in the cloud, using emerging tools and enabling technologies. We are ideally positioned to help CPGs take an early lead in an evolution that will transform the explosion of digital data into actionable insights that help meet the high expectations of today’s highly knowledgeable consumers.
Retailers are sharing downstream data today, and more companies have realized the ROI promise embedded in this opportunity.
Analysts have long touted Demand Signal Repositories (DSRs) – data warehouses that integrate, cleanse and leverage demand data for CPG manufacturers to improve their efficiency with retailers – as a key to competitive advantage for CPG companies.
As a technology initiative, Big Data encompasses:
As technology changes, marketing changes as well – from the Internet and email to digital marketing, and now to mobile. Each of these marketing shifts has felt “Big.” The Internet altered our means of outreach and our advertising spends; email quickly achieved wide acceptance and ROI; and mobile has forever enhanced consumer connectedness. As the technology and trends change, RSi remains ahead of the curve.
We turn retailer information into actionable data.
While mission-critical consumer data is more accessible to CPG manufacturers than ever, capturing and analyzing it for a competitive advantage is a challenge.
In the past, companies were required to buy, build and maintain their on-premise IT systems. Today, however, the cloud provides alternative access to sophisticated software functionality without investment in software licenses, additional headcount, hardware and other fixed costs.
RSi’s innovative Software-as-a-Service model offers a comprehensive suite of solutions including:
